The Heart and Brain behind SaS
After a first degree in Organizational Behavior from McGill University, Marie-Josée Salvas Shaar received a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, a Personal Trainer Certification as well as a Nutrition and Wellness Consultant Certification from the American Fitness Professionals & Associates. Her credentials and experience have already taken her work to England, France, Australia and Japan.
Prior to founding SaS, MJ designed and disseminated training for leaders and employees at all levels in the financial services industry. She also implemented her
Healthy Mind + Healthy Body = Productivity
trilogy first hand for one of Canada’s largest banks. Leading her team to a sales increase of 200%, she knew she was on to something.
MJ has also prepared and/or instructed curricula for various universities, including Master level courses for University of Pennsylvania (USA), University of East London (UK) and Hitotsubashi University (Japan). She is a member of the scientific committee of Castle Cassan in France, where she contributes her expertise to the design of a wellbeing center for senior executives.
She is a monthly author for the Positive Psychology News Daily and a member of the International Positive Psychology Association. You can see some of
